Being in dept is a problem that, sadly, lots of people in today's society face. I don't currently own my own home, just one investment property which is a lot easier to manage since the rent *almost* covers the interest on the mortgage (still quite a way off mind you!) & since its investment we can do an interest free loan which also helps. However, i can totally understand how getting into debt can happen, credit card bills piling up, home loan rates continuing to rise, mouths to feed etc. Apparently if you are heading down the street of dept towards bankruptcy their is another way though, through IVA, here's hoping none of us never need to use it though hey!

Rap Artists.com have just launched their site & are looking for feedback through pay per post, so here's what i think:
First of all i love the page design & layout. The header catches your eye straight away. It loads quickly and is very simple to navigate as well which is a plus. Its easy to locate any rap or hip hop artists you are after using the "Artist Listing" selection on the tool bar. Very detailed information is provided on each artist, including biography, song listings & pics.
All in all it looks like a great site, definitely would be my first stop for all things rap!

The only home loan we have had to get so far was for our investment property which we bought over 2.5 years ago. It was fairly easy to get, we used the same bank we have had all our accounts with for years so that might of made it easier. We compared lots of different Mortgages with the help of a loan broker & in the end we went for an interest only loan with an offset account which means we don't actually pay anything off our mortgage (for now) but everything in our offset account is against the loan so we don't pay interest on that portion of it. This means if we want to buy a car, which insistently we did need to do when Jet was born because our previous one was to small, we don't need to redraw from our mortgage or look at personal loans, we can just take it out of our offset account. I really like this system, it works really well for us. We are pretty responsible with our money though (we have about a 16 page budget!), i think if you were a bit spendthrift it wouldn't work out as well!

Insurance Anyone?
Recently some good friends of ours travelled overseas, as they had done many times in the past. They had been to this country countless times & had never had any problem. When it came to the question of whether or not they should take out insurance they were a bit undecided. Never having had any problem they may have figured that if they lost anything they would just cover the cost, but planning to buy a new camera on their way over they figured they better play on the safe side. So, fortunately they took out travel insurance.
Personally when I thought of taking out travel insurance I only ever really thought of lost possessions, that was about it. But I’ve since discovered another very very important reason for taking out insurance. While over there one of our friends was involved in a motorcycle accident. He broke his leg & the experience nearly cost him his life. The hospital bills - had they not had insurance - would have been in excess of $20,000, which is allot to pay. Not only that but the insurance provider also paid for their change in plane tickets & other necessary transportation as well as the cost of the damaged vehicle involved. With a mortgage at home could you imagine having to come up with that amount of money when travel insurance is so cheap???
So whether your tossing up if you should take out Travel Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, Car Insurance, Pet Insurance, Home Insurance or any other type, make sure you don’t only look at the benefits, also look at the possible consequences of not taking out the insurance!

I discovered Vista Print a couple of years ago, they are an online company that make heaps of great products like Business Cards, Notepads, Flyer's, Brochures, T-Shirts, Rubber Stamps & Magnets - just to name a few!
They have a fantastic service where you can make 250 business cards for free, the only thing you have to pay for is the postage. When i initially found them they were based in America so the postage was quite a bit, but it still worked out cheaper than ordering business cards through any other place id found. Now that they are also in Australia the postage is even cheaper & now you can make free rubber stamps & sticky notes as well!!!
